Computer wallpapers are used as the background for a computer screen, usually for the desktop of a Windows or Macintosh computer. Thanksgiving wallpapers are, quite naturally Thanksgiving-themed and get people in the mood the holiday approaches.

Screensavers are no longer necessary since we primarily use LCD displays, either on a laptop or as a separate screen, but they used to be used to prevent “image burn-in” on old CRT-based monitors.
