Men charged with television theftTwo St. Louis men were arrested and charged Oct. 20 for stealing from the St. Peters Ultimate Electronics, according to St. Peters police.Mark Hill, 42, and Terence Mayfield, 33, allegedly stole two televisions, worth $350 each, from the store at 301 Costco Way.Police located their vehicle, conducted a traffic stop and arrested the two men. the TVs were returned to the store.the St. Charles County prosecuting attorney’s office charged both subjects with felony stealing. They were in custody as of Oct. 20 at the St. Charles County jail in lieu of bond.

Man charged with alcohol theftA St. Charles man was arrested and charged Oct. 26 with felony stealing and third-degree assault after he attempted to steal alcohol from a grocery store, according to St. Peters police.while leaving the store with the alcohol, Shawn Moore, 29, was confronted by a store employee. the two got into a fight, and the employee was injured. Another person was arrested the same day for stealing a hat from a store in the same area.a person was arrested Oct. 24 for stealing clothing and food from a store in the 2100 block of Highway K.Mailboxes damagedTen residents of the 1400 block of Snowbird Lane discovered Oct. 24 that their mailboxes had been damaged overnight.damaged mailboxes were also reported to police on Oct. 23 in the 600 block of Logan Valley Drive and in the 500 block of Prentice Drive; on Oct. 25 in the 1800 block of Lunenburg Drive and on Tallship Cove and on Oct. 26 in the 1400 block of crooked Stick Drive.Stealing from vehicleA ring, satellite radio and change were stolen Oct. 24 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 600 block of Big Horn Drive.a wallet, credit cards and cash were reported stolen Oct. 24 from three vehicles parked in the 600 block of Sundance Drive. the incidents are under investigation.Property damageA person was issued a summons Oct. 25 for damaging a doorbell and screen door of a home on Manderly Place and for damaging a vehicle parked in the home’s driveway.StealingJewelry was stolen Oct. 26 from a building in the 700 block of Sunset Lane. the incident is under investigation.a cell phone was stolen Oct. 26 from a building in the 1200 block of Tom Ginnever Avenue. the incident is under investigation.ST. He was taken to the hospital with major injuries to his arm. the Animal Control Department assumed custody of the dog.ShopliftingA 20-year-old St. Peters man was arrested Oct. 18 for stealing alcohol from the PetroMart gas station at 664 Jungermann Road. He was later caught, arrested for stealing and released with a summons.a male juvenile was arrested Oct. 18 for stealing a hat from Dillard’s at Mid Rivers Mall. the hat was recovered and the boy was released to his parent.three 16-year-old Florissant men were arrested Oct. 18 for stealing approximately $400 worth of clothing from Dillard’s at Mid Rivers Mall. the items were recovered and the juveniles were released to their guardians.three St. Louis women, ages 49, 24, and 20, were arrested Oct. 24 for stealing jewelry, clothing, perfume and purses from several stores in Mid Rivers Mall. the items were returned to the stores.two 18-year-old women, one from O’Fallon and the other from St. Louis, were arrested Oct. 26 and released with summonses for stealing more than $350 worth of clothing from Kohl’s in the 4000 block of Centre Pointe Drive.a 77-year-old Chesterfield woman was arrested Oct. 26 for stealing $300 worth of items from Hancock Fabrics in the 200 block of Mid Rivers Mall Drive.a 32-year-old St. Charles man was arrested Oct. 28 and held on bond for stealing more than $100 worth of items from Home Depot in the 6100 block of Mid Rivers Mall Drive.Leaving the sceneA 28-year-old O’Fallon man was arrested Oct. 18 for leaving the scene of an accident after he struck a vehicle at the intersection of Mexico Road and West Sunny Hill Boulevard and left. the man was released pending application of warrants. There were no injuries from the accident.a 28-year-old St. Charles man was arrested Oct. 23 for leaving the scene of an accident after he struck a vehicle on Harvester Road and left. the man told police he left because he knew he had outstanding traffic warrants. the man was released pending application of warrants.Stealing from vehicleA DVD player, radar detector and other items with a combined value of about $1,500 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle Oct. 18 in the first block of West Garden Walk.a satellite radio was stolen Oct. 22 from a vehicle parked in the 3000 block of Valley Vista.an iPod and jewelry were stolen sometime between the evening of Oct. 21 and the early morning of Oct. 22 from a locked vehicle parked in the 2800 block of Park Valley Drive.Five unlocked vehicles were broken into the night of Oct. 23 in the area of Elmdale and Oak Hill lanes. Items stolen were 5 GPS units, a car stereo, a cell phone, 3 iPods and a pair of sunglasses.Fuel theftA 23-year-old St. Peters woman was arrested Oct. 19 for stealing fuel from a gas station in the 6000 block of Mid Rivers Mall Drive. an employee was able to get her license plate number, and officers found the woman at her residence.StealingA man’s car keys were stolen Oct. 19 from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the 100 block of El Caballo.a woman’s purse was stolen Oct. 26 from grocery cart at Dierberg’ s in the 6200 block of Mid Rivers Mall Drive after she left it unattended. There are no suspects at this time.BurglaryVideo games, savings bonds and various electronics were stolen Oct. 22 when home in the 300 block of Whispering Woods Drive was burglarized.Car thieves arrestedA 17-year-old St. Peters man and an 18-year-old St. Charles man were arrested Oct. 23 for stealing from vehicles parked in the 4800 block of Greenburg Drive. all stolen property was returned to the owners.Indecent ExposureA 23-year-old Lake Saint Louis man was arrested Oct. 25 and released with a summons for urinating on the side of a business in the 1100 block of Cave Springs Boulevard after he left a bar.
