Justin Bieber got his fans all pumped up Monday night with a Twitter message promoting the release of his latest single ‘U Smile’ on iTunes.

Justin Bieber told his 1.4 million Twitter followeres that ‘U Smile’ is dedicated to the “the fans who got me here” over a series of four ‘tweets’ Monday night.

U SMILE is one of the best songs I have ever recorded. It really is a throwback to the great records i listened to growing up.I wrote it for all my fans who got me here. U took me from a small town in Canada to this amazing opportunity I am living now. I am so grateful for everything and so blessed for all of your support. I wrote U SMILE with my friend August with that in mind. So this one is for U. Enjoy it and know that u the fans give me my strength in alot of this. when U SMILE I SMILE. thank u. luv yah.

‘U Smile’ is the most recent cut off his debut album ‘My World,’ released in November 2009. Justin Bieber’s follow-up album ‘My World 2.0′ is scheduled for a March 23, 2010 release date.

Justin Bieber’s dedicated network of social media-savvy fans have made him the most popular trending topic on Twitter for months on end.

Canadian teen heartthrob Justin Bieber may not be the king of Twitter but he’s staking a claim for the title.

Last week, the 16-year-old pop singer from Stratford, Ont., was the no. 1 most-tweeted about topic, according to the tracking website whatthetrend.com.

This week he fell just short of the top spot and settled for second behind a little event called the Oscars.

As of mid-Friday, Bieber was ranked among the top 140 most popular Twitter users but his numbers of followers are multiplying.

He averages about 11,000 new followers daily, which on Friday helped him pass the Twitter accounts of the influential tech blogs TechCrunch and Silicon Alley Insider.

If his Twitter account’s growth continues its frenetic pace, which it steadily has for months, he’ll likely crack the top 100 by April.

but it would still take months to approach the top 10, an elite company of Twitter users with more three million followers, such as Lady Gaga, John Mayer, Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama, Ellen DeGeneres, Britney Spears and the top dog, Ashton Kutcher.

Bieber may be far behind that group but he’s still a hot topic on Twitter right now, said Ingo Muschenetz of what the Trend.

“He’s certainly no. 1 unless something else comes along, like when the earthquake in Haiti happened that took the no. 1 spot for a few weeks,” Muschenetz said.

“If it wasn’t for the Oscars, he definitely would have been no. 1 (this week).”

Bieber has been on Twitter almost a year but it wasn’t until January that his popularity growth really started registering, Muschenetz said.

It helps that he’s an engaged user that communicates directly with his legions of fans who tweet him daily.

Bieber’s popularity is also buoyed by his detractors who can’t stand to see his name on Twitter’s list of trending topics over and over again.

“Justin Bieber trends really high and some people love that and some people hate that,” Muschenetz said.

“(The haters) then tweet about the fact that he’s trending, which only makes him trend higher.”

Twitter recently estimated that about 50 million tweets are registered each day, up from the 5,000 daily when the site was in its infancy in 2007.

Twitter trends today exploded with news of a sad tale – the tragic passing of a young Justin Bieber fan who ran a popular Bieber fansite on Twitter.

#RIPMary took over the twitter trends several hours ago after a report the youngster was involved in a fatal car accident. according to her twitter page, said to have been taken over by her sister this morning, Mary lost her life in the tragic accident.

Hundreds of Justin Bieber fans on Twitter took to their accounts to post tributes to the teenager “who so selflessly dedicated herself to their favorite idol.”

However Twitter users have called foul play, claiming there was no car accident, and perhaps, no Mary.

Furthermore, the Twitter account that broke the news has since been deleted.

Bieber himself is yet to comment, however fans are confident the sixteen year old ‘One Time’ singer will tribute to young girl in the coming hours should the news be true.

Others demand #RIPMary be removed as Trending Topic on the micro-blogging website.

In recent news, a Jonas Brothers fan lost her life in the Chile disaster, prompting Twitter tributes from all around the world. The teenage girl’s body was found dressed in Jonas Brothers merchandise, whilst clutching a fan poster.

Similarly, a hoax flooded twitter that claimed a Justin Bieber fan had been found dead after the quake.

#RIPMary has yet to be confirmed as a death, but fans discard the doubt in order to come together and pay tribute to the loss of a life in their “Bieber family.”

(HMG) – With his Sweet 16 birthday coming up on Monday, Justin Bieber has something else to celebrate as he took to his Twitter to announce the second single off the album. He plans to follow-up “Baby” with the track “Never Let You go,” on Tuesday (video below).

“It’s only 5 days until my bday, but now it’s only six days until I release a new song off of My World 2.0 on ITUNES!! Wanna know which song??” he tweeted on Wednesday night. “Next Tuesday after my bday (help ‘Baby’ get to #1 for my bday!! Lol) I will release ‘Never Let You Go’ finally on iTunes from My World 2.0!!!”

Bieber also postedthe title of the album’s tracks in respective orders.

“Anyone want to know the names of all the songs on MY WORLD 2.0?? We are less than 4 weeks away,” he began.

A song called “Smile” is declared as a fan appreciation tune. “This is the song I wrote for my fans and dedicate to them,” Justin declared. another track titled “That Should Be Me” is “a song about how I should be your man,” he continued.

Bieber, who will promote his album by performing on “Saturday Night Live” and the Kids’ choice Awards, recently released his music video for “Baby.” The video has cameos from Drake and Ludacris and even shows off some of Bieber’s smooth Michael Jackson-inspired dance moves.

Justin Bieber went bowling for his birthday, and he goofed around with Drake and Ludacris at an alley in his music video for “Baby.” Now Nick Cannon wants to throw some strikes and spares with the Canadian teen sensation when he arrives in New York City to promote his new album, My World 2.0.

“Oh yeah! Justin Bieber and I are going bowling courtesy of my morning show,” Cannon told MTV News. Cannon announced the match, which takes place on My World 2.0’s release date of March 23, on Twitter. “His album comes out on March 23 and [so does the album by an] artist that I have signed, the School Gyrls. so we got a little competition, me and Bieber.”

And Cannon is more than willing to tease Bieber about his ability to roll in the run-up to the match. “Justin can’t bowl. I don’t know if you’ve seen his latest video, but his form is off. so I know I’m gonna win. so me and Justin [will go] head to head at the bowling alley.We’re just bringing out as many people from New York [to] Lucky Strike for a release party. Biebermania!”

Bieber may have his own mania, but Cannon is confident that he has the superior skill. “Of course I’m gonna win,” he said. “I’m athletic.Justin Bieber, he can sing and dance and all of that, but I think I got him in the blowing department.”

While Cannon may be dismissive of Bieber’s bowling technique, he does have many kind words for the teen sensation’s musical abilities. “I think he’s an amazing talent, and My World 2.0 is gonna be crazy! That dude is the truth,” he said. “I’ll tell you exclusively — the album is fire.”
