Chandler-based Isagenix, a company that sells health and wellness products, is donating more than 45,000 canisters of IsaLean meal-replacement shakes to survivors of the earthquake in Haiti.
That equates to up to 1.2 million meals, the company said in a news release.
The shakes will be donated to Stop Hunger now, a relief organization that has partnered with Mission of Hope in Port-au-Prince.
The shakes contain protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals.
“It’s devastating seeing thousands of Haitians charge down the street for only two distribution trucks of food,” Isagenix co-founder Kathy Coover said in the news release.
“Everyone deserves to have a high-quality nutritious meal and we can provide that.”
Isagenix was founded in 2002.
